Advertising Policy
Last updated: September 10, 2026
Advertising helps support TechVilla’s technology journalism, website operations, and content development. Editorial decisions remain independent.
TechVilla does not claim that any specific advertising partner is active unless that partner has actually been integrated into the website.
Separation of Editorial and Advertising
Advertising and editorial functions remain separate. Advertisers, sponsors, and commercial partners do not receive automatic control over independent editorial coverage, article selection, headlines, reviews, ratings, conclusions, or correction decisions.
Advertising Formats
Programmatic Advertising
If enabled, programmatic advertising may deliver ads through automated systems based on page context, user choices, legal requirements, and provider settings.
Direct Advertising
Direct advertising may include campaigns, display placements, newsletters, or other arrangements with an advertiser or agency. These arrangements do not guarantee favorable editorial coverage.
Sponsored Placements
Sponsored content and branded placements should be clearly identified so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial content.
Ad Labeling and Influence Restrictions
Paid, sponsored, or promotional material should use clear labels such as “Advertisement” or “Sponsored.” Commercial relationships must not require TechVilla to alter factual conclusions, suppress verified corrections, publish unsupported claims, or present advertising as impartial journalism.
Misleading Advertisements and Brand Safety
TechVilla does not intend to accept or knowingly facilitate advertisements that are deceptive, materially misleading, fraudulent, illegal, malicious, discriminatory, abusive, or likely to cause serious harm. We may use category controls, platform settings, manual review, or other reasonable measures to reduce unsafe or inappropriate advertisements, although no automated system can guarantee that every unsuitable ad will be prevented.
User Experience
Advertising should not unnecessarily interfere with reading, navigation, accessibility, security, or website performance. TechVilla may limit or adjust placements, formats, frequency, or behavior to protect usability and the editorial experience.
Privacy and Consent
Advertising technologies may process device or browser details, IP address, page context, identifiers, approximate location, and advertising interactions when enabled and legally permitted. TechVilla will apply applicable consent and privacy choices and will not identify a specific advertising partner as active unless that integration exists.
Reporting Inappropriate Advertisements
Report misleading, unsafe, offensive, inappropriate, or disruptive advertisements to ads@techvilla.space. Include the page, a description of the advertisement, and details about the issue. This is an editable contact placeholder until TechVilla confirms its advertising contact information.
Policy Updates
TechVilla may update this policy as advertising formats, providers, privacy requirements, or website practices change. The updated version will be posted here with a revised update date.
